All of our Simply members are incredible and unique in their own ways. Our #SimplyLikeMe campaign encourages you to share your story and your motivation for a healthier lifestyle. We asked Marta Kokot, one of our members from Crewe about her #SimplyLikeMe story.
“My name is Marta Kokot, I’m 23 years old and I am a member of Simply gym in Crewe. I have been training for the past 4 years. I am also in process of obtaining my personal trainer qualification. My favourite exercise is lat pulldown but I also love the treadmill.”
What motivated you to start your fitness journey?
For many people, it can be difficult to even get started on a fitness journey. Fear of challenging yourself, adjusting your usual routine or even just stepping foot in the gym. For Marta she relates: “my journey with fitness started at the age of 19 when I first joined the gym and haven’t stopped ever since.”
How has keeping up a regular gym routine helped you?
“Keeping a regular gym routine has completely changed my mindset, I started feeling physically and mentally healthier as my goal was to push myself to obtain a better physical and achieve a “healthy lifestyle.”
What advice would you give to anyone starting their fitness journey?
My best advice for anyone starting their fitness journey would be to enjoy every moment, enjoy working out and stay motivated by the achieved results. Even small results matter.
