And with joy comes lots of festive food and drink, which also means lots of calories. When it comes to alcohol, it’s not hard to accumulate the same amount of calories that you could from a plate of food. This means the festive season can be particularly pressing when it comes to keeping on top of the calories. To put it into perspective, we have created this handy infographic that looks at some popular alcoholic beverages and how much exercise you would need to do to burn them off:
