Simply Gym Walsall is a large, open plan, state of the art new Gym based on Bentley Mill Way and opened in December 2018. This state of the art facility offers a huge variety of equipment and wide range of classes including simply spin, Zumba, Yoga and Pilates to name a few! Hi my name is Amealia and I am a mother of two. My fitness journey began after having my daughter. I wasn’t used to carrying around the baby fat that I gained and was determined to lose the weight. As I started to hit the gym, I kept it up consistently and I began to grow a love and passion for it.

Going to the gym became more than just about losing the weight, working out developed into a lifestyle change. Exercising and working out became a part of my daily routine and has done so much for me mentally, physically and spiritually.

I decided to study the personal training level 3 diploma and qualified as a personal trainer in 2015. In 2016 I also studied sports massage therapy as I was very interested on how to assist recovery from any pains or injuries caused from any physical activities.

I believe the best investment is investing in yourself. Anything is achievable including your fitness goals whether short or long term. I offer 1 on 1, group sessions, personal workout programs or nutritional plans.

Having spent my formative years as an elite swimmer and my former years as an obstacle course racer (OCR) combined with coming from an outdoor education background I bring a wealth of outside the box thinking to my clients training environments.
Years competing in OCRs, open water swimming, trail races and more recently ultra- marathons has taught me that with hard work, discipline, self-belief, desire and determination combined with the right support and training any goal can be achieved.
I specialise in working with clients, like myself, who have physical limitations (be they life long, current or recurring injury), additional support requirements (PTSD, depression, anxiety, SEN) and those just starting or returning to their fitness journey.
Trained in both mental health support and physical fitness for those with or without limitations and coming from both a medical and educational background, along with being an athlete/competitor myself places me in a unique position to be able to provide a full 360° training programme.

When I was 17 I broke my ankle, I had to learn different ways of training, I now have 28 years’ experience in training and I like to pass my knowledge to anyone no matter your age, gender, size or fitness level. I cater for all, I am positive that together I can help you achieve your goals.
I can be found on the gym floor for which I have become a regular fixture here at Simply Gym Walsall, so if you see me around and you want any advice, whether it be losing weight, gaining muscle mass, improving cardiovascular fitness, you just want to tone up your body or you need nutritional advice then please don’t hesitate to approach and have a chat. I will always have time to talk to everyone.
